Ana Cristina Gutierrez is an Ecuadorian mother of two curly haired little boys, a spouse, a
lawyer and an entreprenur. She started her career in Larreteagui & Fabara Abogados, a law firm
in Quito where she specialized in Corporate Law. In 2005, she became an associate in Neidl &
Associates, where she focused on the private sector, advising corporations.
In 2007, Ana Cristina met an indigenous leader of Ecuador, who sought her advice, and from
then on, she became legal advisor to the indigenous communities, creating a legal entity for a
community owned tourism business, and supporting the community to develop an incredible eco
lodge in Ecuador (Napo Wildlife Center). In 2010, Ana Cristina opened her own law firm, ACG
ABOGADOS, offering legal advice in corporate law, labor/employment, trademarks, contracts
and alternative dispute resolution.

In 2013, she established a superfoods company as a family project, called LIVEKUNA. Today
she is the General Manager of the company, that exports to USA, Canada, Mexico, Chile,
Guatemala, Panama, offering superfoods and healthy cereal, snacks and flours. With
LIVEKUNA she has been able to work with multiple indigenous organizations that produce
quinoa, banana and products, proving that working together can benefit everyone.
She maintains her law firm, and continues to advise companies, especially to promote social
justice projects to less favored organizations, encouraging them to create companies and
businesses to be self reliant and sustainable. She is conscious of the preciousness of natural
resources and promotes a responsible, cooperative approach. She loves to travel, experience food
and cultures, and has been lucky enough to travel the world learning from it. She believes in
justice, and will collaborate with those who need it the most, and strives to create a more
equitable, balanced world.
