Stella Odife is a lawyer by profession, a successful politician who became the Deputy Governor of her State, Anambra in the South East of Nigeria. She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance Law and Professional Certificates in Micro-finance Banking, A Certified Mediator and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators, a Member of the Advisory Board of The Institute of Leadership and Governance, and the 1st Vice President of Ambassadors of Peace in Nigeria.

She is currently the National Coordinator for Women’s Organization for Gender Issues (WOGI), a non- Governmental organization for Women and girl-child rights and Economic Empowerment of Women.

Stella Odife’s humanitarian work has earned her numerous Awards both locally and internationally. She holds the “Iyom” title, the highest title for women from her South East region, Anambra State. Additionally, she was born into a royal family and was christened Princess Stella Adaku Odife. She is the proud mother of four children, three boys and one girl. And, little known factoid, Stella was the Nigerian Table-Tennis Champion for Girls Under 18 and a member of the three man Team that won the West African Triangular table tennis Championship in Dahomey, now the Benin Republic in West Africa.
